The world’s thinnest laptop, HP Spectre has been launched in India and it is already available for sale since 25th June.
At 10.4mm thickness, HP Spectre is slimmer than Asus Zenfone Max smartphone which is 10.6 mm. This master piece weighs just 1.11 kg that comes with Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. It is packed with Bang & Olufsen Audio with Quad Speakers sound. HP Spectre has set a new benchmark for thinnest 13inch notebooks by featuring 13.3 inch Full HD display.
The base model features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. HP has used Intel’s sixth generation Core processor, which is very rare among laptops of this size. HP has created a new heat dissipation system that pushes the heat away from the processor. It has also added twin fans at the back to vent out heat.
This machine aims at making our life better, productive and more fun. HP’s Spectre is beautifully crafted Notebook and is a reflection of what many millennials aspire to be- cool, exceptional, dazzling.
HP Spectre largely uses aluminium for its build, but its bottom features carbon-fibre. It has gone for piston hinge at the edge of the laptop, which folds flat to look like a hinge less design.
It uses USB Type C-ports similar to HP’s Elitebook Folio G1. The notebook comes with 3 USB-C ports as opposed to only one on Apple’s Macbook.
For years, Macbook Air was called as the benchmark for thin laptops. Macbook Air measures 17.2 mm at its thickest point while the 12 inch Macbook comes in at 13.2mm.
