Moto G4 looks exactly like the Moto G4 Plus except for that G4 Plus has a squarish fingerprint sensor, while the G4 doesn’t. The missing fingerprint sensor makes it look better than the elder sibling but it comes at a cost of a key functionality.
This device is thin and pocket friendly. A streamlined design fits perfectly in the pocket. With round edges and micro-texture back, it is super easy to grip and use it easily with one hand.
G4 comes with a 13 megapixel sensor without auto-focus technology, so it takes a little longer to focus as compared to the G4 Plus. The 5 megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture on G4 is same as that in G4 Plus.
The G4 has a design language of similar to the last generation models. The design elements may appear to be borrowed from the predecessor, the changes are quite noticeable. The back panel is completely different and looks elegant.
As compared to the last-gen Moto G, the company has increased the size by half an inch. The phone measures 5.5 inches in size but it doesn’t feel uncomfortable to hold nor it adds to its weight. The rounded edges of the phone further adds to the ergonomics.
